Gardens for Wildlife (G4W)

Gardens for WildlifeThe Ringwood Community Garden is registered with the Knox Environment Society/City of Knox "Gardens for Wildlife" (G4W) program for its efforts to develop a corridor of native plantings along its fence. The "Living Fence Project" benefits the environment by providing an ecosystem that encourages native fauna and insects into the the Garden promoting natural pest control and helping to increase pollination and fruit/flower set for better production.

Disability SignThe Ringwood Community Garden received the Horticultural Therapy Association of Victoria's 2007 J. D. Bone Trust Award which has funded the construction of pathways to improve access to, and around, our raised garden beds.
